So my 360 just died: Part 3

So the past week after watching a video my 360 froze as I tried to exit. I figured no big deal. Then today I play NCAA 2007, it freezes, okay I know that disc has seen better days. Then I put in Madden 2007, play for 2 minutes, freeze. I turn it off and on a couple times, the tv screen makes a
blerrrrrp noise and now I have 3 lovely red lights flashing at me. This is the third time I've had this happen. If I had the money right now I'd be getting a PS3.

My friends 2nd 360 kind of just crapped out today. That is just crazy with these dead 360's...........will MS ever fix the problem.

So I am on hold for customer support, and this crappy techno music is playing, and then I hear this emo type guy come on and say something before ending with "We're all just ****ed in the head" Umm, when did MS but profanity on their hold line music?

Sounds pretty close to what happened to me yesterday when I got home to play Virtua Tennis 3 except I didn't get the RROD. I simply unplugged everything including HDD and the problem so far went away.

Funny it was the only game it did it on. I'm seriously considering trading in my 360 for an Elite. I forgot what the trade is in at EB for a Premium.

Yay now they need to verify this with the supervisor because its my third repair. I am saying this now at 4:09pm, this had better not be a hassle. It isn't my fault they build total ****, hence why they just extended the warranties on all systems for three years. I really think they only did this to avoid a class action lawsuit over their faulty machinery.

I'm the friend that Candy alluded too.

My 2nd one just kicked the bucket like Pizza the Hutt of Spaceballs Fame.

I literally saw checkerboard marks on the screen and it would freeze.
I'm so excited right now that I want ICE CREAM!!!

Even if you had a PS3 you'd be pissed about the LACK of quality games.
I'm not really sure that I want to play my games in slow motion either considering that only Sony will code their games for 60fps.

I do believe though that Microsoft will fix and right the problems or as Candy said earlier to me, they will face a class action lawsuit that would go beyond the lawsuit that Sony dealt with on the PS2.

Well at least it's being repaired for free. I am going to be assigned some sort of specialist because this has been an on going problem. The sad thing is I don't even really play the console that much.

And now, right before my most anticipated game of the year comes out this happens. All I want is a machine that works, is that really too much to ask for in the year 2007?

Okay now this is weird, after freezing multiple times and refusing to start, it just now fired up fine. Is that unusual or par for the course?

Good to hear. I was worried they'd get it, fire it up and assume I was lying. I had a feeling this was coming, there have been a few freezes here in there, mainly when exiting videos from the marketplace. Then the freezes today, I just don't want to get screwed over again.

I find it amusing that no one has gone to my thread and you're getting all the "my system died" love. I feel so unloved on OS at this moment in time.
