    Standard 360 vs. 360 Elite

Ok, just got the red lights of death (for a second time). Are these "issues" as common on the elite system? If I could avoid this again in the future by purchasing an elite, I would be more than happy to do so. This is getting to be quite inconvenient. Any insight or info would be greatly appreciated.

maybe, maybe not. They were made with the same parts and with the same process, but they really haven't been out long enough to see if they fail as badly. In my opinion, it's a worthless purchase if you're not looking to purchase it for the added features.

I would send it back to Microsoft. They know what's causing the problem and will either fix it or send you a new one. Unless you desperately want an Elite that's another matter, but if you just want a reliable system send it back to MS so they can fix it.
