360 Dirty Disc error??

I was playing NCAA 08 and received this error. I then proceeded to try and turn the 360 off with my controller with no luck. I've since placed other games in the load tray from the dashboard and it says "reading" and then 3 seconds later it says "Insert a game, dvd, or cd" Like it's not even recognizing any disc at all. I let it rest for about 15 minutes....still no luck. Am I headed down the road of the 3 rings of death? This is a 360 elite not even 3 months old.

Any ideas or suggestions?

It happened to me I had to call and get microsoft to send a coffin. I hope 'you are luckier than me

The same exact thing happened and it was an elite? Since I'm within my 90 day return period, I'll take it back to Target before sending it in.

There is a huge thread about this in the NCAA 08 Football forum. Apparently alot of peeps are getting this message after NCAA 08 went into thier system. But on the other hand there are alot that havent had a single prob.
