Here's a nice video for those who would like too see the game in action. As you can see, pressing select on the controller gives you access to your hdd music. Also, if you look at the controller instructions it will show you how to hold it and aim.

Hit a 239 and a 505 set today in a tournament with Barry and the Cow ball. Haven't been able to get back over 175 since.

        Loving this game.

High velocity bowling is killer. The ball and pin physics are outstanding. Loads of fun for ten bucks.

          And custom soundtracks!!! Sweet.

Is this game easy enough for a 6 year old to play?

              Thanks.

Re: Playstation Network and Discussion Part Deux

It's as easy as bringing your arm back and forward to throw a straight ball (which is probably all a 6-year old would be interested in doing). Just make sure the controller doesn't end up leaving their hand and flying through the window/TV/wall.

It's the most Wii-like game on the PS3 to date, if that helps explain it.

I just bowled 3 or 4 games and had a good time against the CPU. It would be more fun playing against others online. Maybe they will add that soon. I can't wait to play against some friends.

It's a must buy for 10 bucks IMO.

The game has you click through an online agreement the first time you start it, so I'd guess that online play will happen eventually. At least they've got it in mind. That happened with Tekken DR (for a price), so we know it's possible.

SCEA San Diego is fast becoming one of my favorite developers. Any of you Show folks work on this game?

I know it's been said before, but I love the physics and pin action. In my last game I left the 4-6-10, a split I usually convert by knocking the 6 to the left into the 4. This time, however, I missed high and knocked the 6 INTO the 10, sending both to the right. Game over right? One of the pins (probably the 10) kicks off the back right corner, back up across the lane and slams into the 4. Simply awesome. I've had a couple of other cool-looking pin action spares, but that was the best one.

                            Anyone gotten a 7-10 yet?

High Velocity Bowling is one of the better games that I have played. Yes, it's a little shallow, but for 10 bucks it's amazing. I love the option of listening to my playlist as I bowl. I need a lot more practice though. I can't seem to break 175.
