Re: Playstation Network and Discussion Part Deux
ok i got a question.
i have a UK account. i want to buy the newest FIGHT NIGHT DLC. it is 9.99 here in the US but 4.95 in the UK STORE. if i buy it from there will it play ok? there wont be any hidden fees right?
has anyone here bought anything from the PS STORE other than the U.S.?"on hoping there is a PSN flash sale before Valentine's Day"
Man there are no flashers... now what are we going to do for vd

Re: Playstation Network and Discussion Part Deux
Most of the time the DLC will need to be purchased from the same store as your game's region. I found out the hard way with Wipeout and a couple others so I never risked it again.
And update is out.
FF8 Woohoo!!
I'll have to check out some reviews of Puzzlegeddon before jumping in...oh wait there's a demo...Comment

Re: Playstation Network and Discussion Part Deux
Having just played the GT 5 demo (201mb Japanese Store) I am pretty disapointed. No damage, no opponents, no atmosphere.
Sure it's supposed to be a time trial but I was hoping at least to see an indication of the final game not what I've played in Prologue for nearly a year.
If anything, it seems graphically smoother and less jaggy but meh. What a fuss over nothing.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Re: Playstation Network and Discussion Part Deux
FYI, with it originally being a 4 CD game and all, the FF8 download is massive compared to other PS1 classics. 1,820 MB.
Have fun getting that on a memory stick (plus whatever you may have already had).Last edited by bcruise; 12-18-2009, 07:47 AM.Comment

Looks like a 3D Excite Bike. Definitely an anticipated PSN game for me this spring.

Re: Playstation Network and Discussion Part Deux
One of my favorite N64 games was Excitebike 64. Since I played that so often, the game came with the classic version and I couldn't get into it none, probably because I was so hooked with the N64 version. It still stands as my favorite supercross game in fact, probably mostly because of the use of the Z button (I love that button).
We'll see what that Stuntman Joe looks like or whatever it's called. I mean it looks cool, but I'm trying to find out the... uhh... I guess the impending challenge in it all, since technically it's a side-scroller and there is no turning, or racing at all for that matter. Hopefully a demo will be out.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

I like how in that video when you go over a big jump the game says "DAAANGGERRR!" That'll be catchyActually it looks like it says that when you are collecting the letters to spell Danger.
