I own the game for the PC, so I don't know that I'll pick it up for the PS3, but it's actually not bad. There's no host, so if that deters you, be warned. All the items are presented by a Rich Fields voiceover, so there's that if you're worried about that.

The PC game also has 30-something games if I remember correctly, so it'd be interesting to see what minor games were cut in the PS3's 19-game offering.

If you're even remotely interested, I'd say it's worth the $9.99 if the lack of a host doesn't bother you. I know some people will be put off by it.

Anyone getting TPIR...what's the flow of the game like? Do you play against AI's on contestants row, then do the pricing game if you win? And how do the wheel and showcase figure in?

I know how the real show works, but that process doesn't really lend itself well to a single player game unless you're playing as more than one contestant (otherwise you'd only do like 3 actions in any given show, assuming you even get off contestants row)

Anyone getting TPIR...what's the flow of the game like?...

Seems like the trailers for both the PSN and Wii releases are the exact same sans the PS logo, so I'll bet that the gameplay should be pretty similar between both releases. If you do a youtube search for the Wii version of Price is Right 2010, you'll find some gameplay vids. I also know that Giant Bomb did a quick look for that version as well.

I guess it would be helpful if whomever buys the PSN version can compare with the videos provided.

On the PC version there is are "classic" and "3 strikes" modes. Classic is a playthrough, TV-style. You bid on Contestant's Row and if you win you play a pricing game. You lose on the Row and it just moves onto the next Row item. You don't get to see AI pricing games. Everything is pretty much as it is on TV in terms of flow.

3 Strikes is you play until you lose 3 times and the game ends. You can lose on Contestant's Row, get a strike on your character from that, and then still play a pricing game, wheel, and assuming you win one of those (because losing all three is obviously three strikes), the Showcase. It's more for those that just want to try out some games without really worrying about any true-to-life rules.

I have no idea if those exist in the PS3 game, but from the trailer it looks identical aside from the number of games, so I'd assume that's how it is.

I got it yesterday, it is a lot of fun. I played it about 5 hours last night LOL. You can really spend a lot of time in the Creation Zone. I posted this in the ModNation Racers thread, but here was my first kart creation... Herbie. I need to go back and change the color of the main paint a little, it's suppose to be a cream color, not gray. Gray just looked a little sportier.

I agree, man. I wish they would have let us know sooner (Sony that is, not 505).

I don't know who's fault it is, 505 or Sony, but that is plain stupid not to have a demo for a game that so many are on the fence about. I was laughing when Pasta said 6/1 or 6/8 for the demo. Things like this aggravate me about this system, plain and simple. Same goes with Tecmo Bowl which was to release same day as 360 version and then poooooofffff it goes MIA w/ no release date. I would have bought Tecmo, but now that it gets closer to Backbreaker and then NCAA and Madden, who cares.
