Playability

Playability status with the PS3TM system has changed for some PLAYSTATION®3 format titles*.

So what does this mean? Some games will play better? I tested out all my demos - tennis seems to play faster.

I guess I may be the only one having problems since the update. Right now I can't get on PSN, but before hand I kept getting errors with the connection and what not.

Still looking around the main PS3 website forums. Seems like other people are having an issue with the recent update.

Edit: Nevermind, seems like resetting the router worked like a charm.

I know PS2 tv cables work with the ps3.


But can a ps2 power cord work with a ps3 ????

I ask because i tried to find an extra 360 power cord and av cable. But both together would run me $170.00 canadian. The pwer cord alone is $100.00 (thats crazy).

But, I still have ps2 av & power cables. So this would be the cheapest (free) alternative.

I just dont want to try my ps3 with a ps2 cable and screw it up. So does anyone know for sure that this is possible ??

You cannot use a ps2 power cord with the ps3 (at least the slim ps2). I can't remember how the fat ps2 cord was, but they already sell ps3 power cords in teh store in case yours gets messed up.

I've been to best, walmart, ebgames, toys r us (all in Canada mind you) and have not seen one power supply for eith ps3 or 360. I was only able to get a price from microsoft themselves for a pwer supply and it cost $100.00 before taxes/shipping which is nuts.

If you are looking for just the power cord. The PS3 cord is the same as one you would find on a PC, I have no idea about the PS2. The PS3 is one 3x18awg, fairly typical. Monoprice has em for $1.36
