Do the full PS1 games play pretty well on the console? Look any better?

Just got my PS3 and it's the first PS I've owned since the first one. Thinking about picking up Jet Moto 2 and Twisted Metal 2 and wanted to make sure the game didn't stutter like crazy or anything.

Hot Shots Golf Out Of Bounds: Playable Sackboy ($1.99)

Awesome.

Got a few games in with him already, and while I hate fade characters (can't control them very well), I'm actually doing alright with him. He hits pretty hard for a novice, too.

And his emotes are just hilarious.

He doesn't actually talk, but there's different LBP sound effects that go with the emotes.

Also, he makes Nick look tall.

I'm waiting for my WWE demo to finish downloading. I haven't heard or seen anything about this game, so it will all be a surprise to me.

If you like mashing buttons you will love it. Otherwise, not so much. I was really looking forward to it, but the demo totally turned me off.

Guys,
I haven't really tinkered around with the Ps3 any. I am thinking about getting it. With the PS3, Are you able to surf the internet like a normal computer? Can you watch videos let's say on you tube? and lastly, Can you access your email accounts? If so, That mini keyboard that hooks to your controller, Is that all you would need

Tim, preety much yes to answer all your questions. It's not as comfortable as a normal computer but it does work. May I suggest instead of a small keyboard on top of the controller, use a usb keyboard and mouse. It just works better.

I saw a wireless logitech keyboard that had a laptop type mouse on the same pad. It looked pretty good but it was 80.00...I really appreciate your answer man...

I got a code voucher to get High Velocity Bowling for free because I have the Qore subscription thing, can I give that code to a friend? I already have the game, so the voucher does me no good.

Unless the code was somehow tied to your PSN ID and your Qore subscription it should work just like any code, a friend should be able to use it. I'd be willing to help you out and try it.

Edit: Just did a quick google search, and in at least one forum give away, the person receiving the code from another party got it to work. Does HVB have trophies?

yeah it's just a long code just like the Rock Band ones if you ever had those. yeah HVB has trophies, they are all online ones though

Also, who is getting Wheel of Fortune this week? It's a little more than I want to spend ($15 is $5 too much) but I'm gonna get it. As sad as it is, WOF is probably my favorite game show of all time LOL. Just wondering if someone else is getting it so we can play online or something. I know I'll probably trade it with my brother since he has Jeopardy, but I'd like to play online with some OS'ers too.

WOF would be a game I might consider getting, but at $15 it seems a bit overpriced.

P.S Kev I'm having a blast reading about your RTTS guy, I think its neat the way you used the actual AA team's website as a base for your articles. I was in the Brewers system one year for my RTTS and I loved playing for the Sound.

Oh and that one 3 run bomb you hit was epic with the music playing in the background. Excellent cinematography by you.
