Check your PM's, since I'm not sure that the topic is entirely TOS-friendly for discussion here.

I think I discovered why this happens. If you don't rank in one of the worldwide leaderboards your scores won't be saved. For example, if you are on the El Dorado Leaderboard your score will be saved, but if you don't rank on the V12 Leaderboard your score won't be saved. Kind of lame if you ask me. Oh well, more incentive to get better scores I guess.

This is more than kind of lame, it flat out sucks. Eventually the scores on the worldwide leaderboard are going to be obscenely high, meaning your personal bests will never get saved. Heck, I haven't even been able to crack the leaderboards now, I really have no hope in a couple of months when the top players have all but mastered most of the tables. This needs to be fixed in a future update.

I enjoy the game, but a lot of the time I have no idea what is going on, lol. There are always about 15 lights flashing on the board and I just don't know what they mean. I wish the instructions for each board were much more detailed. Right now it just seems random when I get a good score because I am clueless as far as getting multipliers, multi-balls, missions, etc.

I'm not having any problems with my scores updating...I just got a weekly best on Tesla that immeditely updated (nothing special or even close to being ranked high-something like 4 mil). And I'm not ranked on V12 or Shaman.

Think I found a bug in El Dorado...the bonus multiplier doesn't appear to work. It's supposed to multiply the bonuses you get after you lose a ball, but it always says x1. The other tables work fine - I've gotten multipliers on those.

Well I just played for an hour an achieved a score of 8.5 million on El Dorado (my personal best, from what I can remember). Then I quit out of the game and relaunched it. Fired up El Dorado, let the ball go down the middle three times, and this is what I saw:

It doesn't remember my 8.5 million score at all. I go to the scoreboards page, and toggle "My Scores" and it tells me I am not yet ranked on this scoreboard. Why can't it keep my high scores saved, even if they are not good enough to be ranked in the top 1000 of people online? That's dumb.

Okay, now I see what you're saying...and you're right, that is pretty dumb. Thing is, it seems like an easy fix - the scores are still there in the game's memory. How do I know? Because the score Histograms in the Operators Menu (under bookkeeping) say so. It doesn't give exact scores, but it does give the range that you'll probably know to have been your best score. The reason I know is because it has a 60-80 million range score on my Shaman records from when I was messing around with slow motion (trying to figure out how everything worked)

They almost have to patch it because of the online multiplayer issues, I'm sure they can get this fixed too...

The Dorado multiplier is the only thing I've found that's actually wrong with the gameplay itself - it's not like the whole game is broken or anything...

Are you sure there is a problem with the El Dorado Muliplier? I almost swear I saw X2 and X4 the other night. I may be wrong though. I will play on that table later on tonight to make sure.

Yeah, there needs to be a patch though to help you save your high score. I had a great run the other night on V12, 22 Million and change, but it is still saved for me.

It's there on the table, and it shows up on the video board when you get it. But when you lose a ball and the bonus is actually awarded, all I ever see is a x1, even when I built up to a x4 with the landing strip. It's possible I'm missing it or misinterpreting the bonus screen, but yeah, another set of eyes would be good...

Just got an 18 Mil on Shaman, thanks mostly to an extended Eclipse Multiball session.

Oh, I see what you are saying now. Does it double your score in real time? I was thinking that is what it does.

Sweet, Shaman is a nice table. Highest for me so far is 9 Million. Need to play that one more. Tesla is the only one I haven't been able to crack the leaderboard yet. It's also the hardest one for me to tell what is going on.
