Something like this shows up on your Facebook Wall:

        Atlanta Braves
        - Auburn Tigers - Nashville Predators

It's working fine now for the download of the firmware. I think maybe so many people were downloading it, it slowed the PSN down a lot.

Yeah it took me like three or four tries last night. I kept getting error messages.

About facebook I'm glad they buried the icon cause not only do I not have a facebook account I don't want one, and I don't want the icon on my XMB.

Now if I could only customize which icons I do want...

Did they add the ability to take screenshots at any time? I thought I read something about that.

It hasn't changed recently. It's still up to the game developers to utilize this feature, like MLB 09 did.

This is where I find Sony to be kind of stupid since they could add a feature like this to the PS3 XMB itself and get the rights to it. This way not Nintendo or MS could do the same thing, like what MS did with the in-game cross chat where PS3 can't have that.

MS doesn't have the rights to the chat.

It's not an issue with Sony being able to use it. Like with the in-game soundtracks, it's difficult to go back and add in new features into the console and have 100% compatibility. The 360 launched with in game soundtracks and cross game chat, and an update later bumped it up to 8 people simultaneously for parties.

The very point of cross game chat relies on it being compatible with as many games as possible. It's understandable that Sony is having a harder time putting it in than MS did.

No it didnt the 360 added all that stuff in via updates except the cross chat which they updated to parties

                              you are mistaken.

Custom soundtracks was a feature on the 360 from the start, and was present in the original xbox. In one of the early 360 dashboard updates, they added the ability to use custom soundtracks in backwards compatible original xbox games.

Sony on the other had, didn't have it on the ps3 at launch. When they implemented it with a firmware update, it didn't support all games, and I believe it's still entirely up to the developers to put it in their games. That's fine for custom soundtracks, but only a few games allowing cross game chat defeats the purpose of having it.

U cant even use the dashboard when your playin a backward compatible compatible game all u can do is start the music and play the game u with no control. also the original xbox had the same setup like the ps3 where some games let you play your music through the game and not over it. Xbox basically has their custom music as a mandatory requirement for the game to even be released on their console.
