    It was a really trashy move on their part.

    I wonder if having the exclusive license means more pressure on them? I honestly don't see 2k8 outselling 2k7. IMHO it's a step back overall.

    From what I've played, it felt like 2k7.5 with a new pitching method. They just can not make a solid baseball game, which must be frustrating to some 360 only owners.

    Just reinforces my buying decision to pick up the PS3. Exclusivity sucks, to put be frank.

      I think I'm going to check out Brain Challenge. Sometimes I think my brain needs a challenge.

                          Assault Heroes 2 First Look

                          Blowing out the game means new and more powerful weapons, interactive and destructible environments, hijackable vehicles, improved level design and a 30% longer experience. Stages have now been added that stray away from the vertical design, creating a path that snakes in all directions. The team has also made the stages more three dimensional in appearance. One area we saw had the heroes riding on a bridge high above water, adding a sense of grandiose perspective. That water, by the way, looks very cool and is quite impressive for an XBLA game.
                          Along with adding some on-foot areas outdoors to mix things up, a larger emphasis has also been placed on the underground, on foot areas. Dying in these doesn't automatically warp you out to the main world and a greater focus has been put on making these areas feel as complete as the main game. There's even a new dodge roll move to keep the absence of a vehicle from being a death sentence.
                          The game remains capped at a two player co-op experience. The team looked at expanding the number of players to four, but found the screen too cluttered for its own good. Even though it is still locked at two players, a couple of new features have been added to make the co-op game more enjoyable. The first is the option to replay single stages co-operatively, rather than having to start from the beginning and work your way through the entire game. The team has also made it easier to activate the co-op linked weapons. Either player can hit a button to begin the strong attack as opposed to the old style where both had to engage the power at the same time for it to work.

                            I canceled xbox live, twice, after selling my 360, but noticed I still have profile information on their website. Did the account just slip to silver or what?

                            It still has my achievement points, games played, friends list, etc.

                            Just wondering, since I could probably pick one up again at some point.

                                New N+ Content Coming

                                N+ co-creator Mare Sheppard told IGN today that Metanet plans to release three downloadable expansion packs, each containing about 200 levels, in the months ahead. The first pack will likely contain some easier levels and some co-op multiplayer levels and could hit Xbox Live Marketplace as early as three weeks from now. The second and third packs would follow soon after.

                                "The other packs will probably contain harder levels, race and survival multiplayer, and some classic N levels from the original game -- we're just not sure how the content will be distributed among the packs yet," Sheppard said.

                                Metanet is shooting for a price of 200 Microsoft Points per pack (US $2.50) or one point per level, and one of the packs will be free.

                                In addition to designing/porting the roughly 600 extra N+ levels, Sheppard said Metanet is hard at work on a potential title update for N+ that would enable level sharing. Although the N+ level editor, included with the game, allows players to create their own levels, the finished products aren't distributable over Xbox Live.

                                There are also some other "secret goodies" in the works for the three sets of downloadable content, but Metanet isn't sharing that info just yet.
