Anything you need to get the license for again, you do the redownload. Since it's already on your console, it takes 2 seconds, not a long time no matter how big it is. You don't delete have to delete it.Comment

Yeah, it merges every 360 you've owned and the content you downloaded to that system to your new system. So say you've had 9 360's and downloaded XBLA games to each one. You turn on the 360, go to the tool, it then logs you out of XBL. Then you choose yes to combining all the game liceneses, and then it wants you to log back into Live, then next screen you confirm, and final screen shows your new 360 ID that you are currently using with every game license now tied to it like that's where you bought it originally. Took me like 5 mins and then 30 to redownload the games I wanted to make sure work. (You only redownload the "purchase" code, so even a 2 gig game will take 2-3 seconds)
