Amazon selling Premium 360 for $330
Steve posted this (http://www.joystiq.com/2007/08/09/am...ox-360-for-330) in the Friday morning news, but I wanted to talk about it here. I wonder if I print out the Amazon price, will Best Buy match? (already bought my 360, just wondering if I can $70 instead of $50 during 30-day price match time period).Tags: None -

Re: Amazon selling Premium 360 for $330
I don't think it was really a premium they were selling for $330. When I looked, it said something like, "XBOX 360 with Hard Drive included." My guess is that it was a core that came with a HDD.Originally posted by billmaticRadman is more like the ******** homeless man's version of Okur.Comment

The Best Buy I work at price matches to amazon but they are the only online company we price match too, it all depends on the specific location more then it being a Best Buy policy enforced at all locations.Comment

You sound just like me. I ordered one on Amazon last night. It won't matter for me if it has a HDMI port. The only problem is the estimated ship date for me is August 14th. I have been reading about Amazon.com huge spike in selling 360s since the price drop, so it explains the wait.Comment

Sorry for bumping the thread, but did anyone buy one of these?
Mine arrived a couple of days ago. As well as all of the premium package content, it also came packaged with a wireless networking adapter. It was definitely a pleasant surprise.Comment

Re: Amazon selling Premium 360 for $330
I got the new HDMI premium from Target and got 10% off for opening a target card. The manager actually messed up because my wife originally bought me the Elite and the 10% sale was on anything $404.99 and up. So I returned the Elite and asked if I still get the 10%. At first the system wouldn't allow it and then a manager came and overwrote it. He also let me pay cash so I won't forget to pay that worthless Target card a 25%+ interest.
Final price $315 + tax. I was a happy camper with that price.
I had a launch 360 and this new one is definitely much more quiet. It is still louder than my PS3 but I barely notice it because my speakers drown it out.
For those of you who don't care about the HDMI port, I think it was sad that all the machines without the port do not have the extra fan to keep the system cooler and avoid the overheating issue many people were experiencing?Comment
