Another 360?

Did any of you guys here about Microsoft making another version of the 360 called xbox 360 ultimate. It supposed to have a hd dvd drive and a 320gig hdd. I read this some were on the xbox forums . You guys know if there's any truth to this.

No I haven't heard that but it wouldn't surprise me as the Core is being phased out for the Premium which only leaves the Elite.

I don't think they will. I don't think they would put a HD-DVD drive in either but you never know with MS.

I think that it would be a good idea if they did release a system with the HD-DVD drive for those that want a built-in drive. It could really help the HD-DVD camp.

But what if they started making games on the hddvd. What would happen to all non HD- dvd 360's.I mean sooner or later they will run out of room on dvd9.

They'll just release games on multiple DVD's like Blue Dragon.

Do you think sports games will need more than dvd9 . I wonder how much space a game like madden uses.

Madden is locked at around 6.5GB. It might increase a little but it won't exceed a DVD9 disc during this generation.

If it's true, I could see it being somewhere around the 80 gb PS3 price.
