Does the 360 run at 1680x1280 res?

If so, how does it look? I'm thinking of getting a higher res monitor, than my current 1360x768 model - need some more desktop space for PC.

pretty sure 1360 x 768 is the highest with VGA

The highest resolution through VGA is 1920 X 1080 if your console is up to date with the updates (if your monitor can support it)... but there aren't any resolutions shown between 1360 X 768 and 1920 X 1080

I'm using VGA on my 50'' DLP, with the resolution of 1920 x 1080. Next one down is 1360 x 768.

            Thanks for the info guys.

Good thing I didn't spend any money yet. I can't find a 1920x1080 display that also has a TV tuner that isn't >30". Oh well, I just may keep looking - one of these days someone will make one.

I've got a 32" LCD with VGA cables running at 1920x1080. Looks fantastic.
How I wish, how I wish you were here. We're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl year after year. Running over the same old ground. What have we found? The same old fears. Wish you were here.

Could you send me a link to the specs of your model? Thanks.

It's gonna be pretty pricey, at least a grand...You basically want a 1080p HDTV

Sure, but I want to use it as a PC monitor AND be able to sit close to it

If I could find something like that, I'd pay for it though - I need the TV, but can't have a video card tuner and have the PC do the work, because it'll be processing other data.

It would also be good to have the monitor do the tuning, because it wouldn't require extra power. If I had a tuner box, it might require >20 W, plus the monitor and the PC are also consuming power. Basically, I don't want to start blowing fuses.
