Re: Xbox 360 return question
I think that it'd be pretty unlikely.. I think MS is trying to fix up and ship out as many of the messed up RRoD systems as they can to recoup some of their losses. They've been replacing heatsinks on the ones sent in for repairs and refurbishing them to give out to people who got the RRoD. I don't think they'll take your old system and send you a brand new one with more features until they actually don't have any of the old models anymore.
Just conjecture, but that's my best guess.Send your Midnight Release weirdo pics/videos to my new website: http://www.peopleofmidnightreleases.com! -

Not MS, Micro Center. I'm wondering if I can take it to the store and swap it out with their warranty, ala a BestBuy. Also wondering if they would pick the one to exchange, or say that the HDMI one isnt the same as the one I have.I think that it'd be pretty unlikely.. Usually only if the exact unit you have isnt available....If they dont have your unit or its no longer made then they would have to replace with something - that would likely be the HDMI unit. But no, they wont let you just upgrade over a failure.Comment
