When I bought my 360 from Best Buy in January 2006, I paid the $40 for the 2-year replacement plan. Looks like I need to cash in on that plan. The 360 finally crapped out.
I was having some problems with the disc tray and it started cracking some of my discs, so I was planning on taking it back this weekend, anway. Then, last night I downloaded the dash update, my screen got all distorted, started shaking, and then the video just cut out all together. So now I get no video output from the 360, only audio.
Has anyone used Best Buy's plan before? How does it work? I initially bought a core because that was all they had at the time (I bought all the other stuff separately (the HD, wirless controller, etc.) Do I just bring back the actual console? Do I need the box? Will they give me new cables or do they just replace the actual console?
Will they give me a premium (I"m hoping so for the HDMI output) if they don't have any cores in stock?

). If they don't have cores in stock, you'll get whatever you paid for the core back on a gift card. So say, $299 plus tax.
