        Do u guys know the INSANE amounts of consoles GT moves? That is a KILLER APP... i think GT3 was the best selling game on the PS2 last gen...both gran turismos broke top 10 in game sales i think + usually gets high reviews.. I bought my PS2 exclusively for GT3: A-Spec

            Gran Turismo is a huge brand, period.

            Hell, Nissan came out with a LE trim for the 2005 350Z/Fairlady Z called: Gran Turismo 4 edition.

            Forza is a great series, but since we're talking killer apps in terms of sales impact, no series has ever bridged the gap between car culture & gaming like GT.

                Good points guys. GT will be huge in Japan, where Forza and PGR are meaningless. I still don't think it will be the phenomenon it was on the older machines here in the US, though. Hardcores may throw down 700 bucks for the experience, but I really think the majority of those people already have one. Like pared said, we'll see.

                    GT, FF and MGS are the three 'killer apps' for the PS3. Killzone is projected to join the list.

                    Long story short, none of those games are out yet. So until then, all PS3 owners remain technically 'early adopters'.
