360 roster transfers

The past week I've been trying to decide if I should get a 360 or PS3. I'm really torn... one day I'll think I should get the 360, the next day I'll be wanting the PS3. The only games I play are sports games... and grand theft auto.

Anyway, I keep hearing that roster transfers on the 360 are difficult, and downloading a user made roster off the internet and loading it onto the 360 may someday be impossible. What's the deal with that? If the availability of roster file transfers for the 360 are in question, I will no doubt get the PS3.

Money is a issue for me. If both systems cost the same, I'd get the PS3, no question. I'd only get a 360 because it's cheaper. Help me out here!

It takes a couple tries to figure everything out, but once you do 360 rosters aren't a problem. The uploader just has to have the original profile transferred too.

Get the 360.

Transferring rosters with the PS3 is so much easier.

You don't earn a prize for the extra loops of using XIC & Xplorer360, but it isn't a terrible alternative. Just a lot more tedious.

When/Why are the roster transfer going to be locked down?

Well they banned some 360 user b/c they release NCAA 07 roster saves. I belive they was on GameSaves.com? MS Banned them for xbox live. It was the same guys that did the ncaa 08 rosters. They had to buy another system. Plus if you did not rename the file when you went to load it,it would not work. You had to rename it. So thats why he said until MS puts a lockdown on it

Well, looks like I'll get the PS3. I was kinda leaning that way anyway, since I like baseball games, and there are no playable baseball games on the 360.
