    360 RF adapter

We're going to be staying at my in-laws over Thanksgiving (and then again at Christmas) and I want to use the vacation time to get in some quality time with my 360. However, I don't think the rest of the family will appreciate me using their main TV for video gaming (and it's a nice HD 40 in. flat screen-much better than my 24 in. SD TV). They have an old TV in the basement, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't have A/V hookups. Has anyone used an RF adapter for the 360? I'm sure the picture quality will be worse, but is it at least playable?

I don't even think they have RF adapters for the 360. I could be wrong tho...

They have them, but hard to find. I'll probably have to go through Amazon or eBay.

Do you need an adapter to connect a 360 to a PC monitor? Or does it depend on the monitor? There's a computer with a decent monitor in the basement, too. I guess I could use that.

You need a VGA cable for the 360. It can be found on eBay for cheap. I would definitely go this route if I were you.

Pretty much... you'll get HD graphics all to yourself in that basement... heck you might come home and want to use it on your home monitor as well. Win/Win in my opinion unless you need to game on a tv larger than 20 inches
