    Wii Graphical Issues - Component or Wii?


    Well, I sat down to play Mario Galaxy, which is awesome by the way. I update the Wii to the latest firmware, I start getting these weird lines at the main menu screens of the Wii and while Mario Galaxy.

    Has anyone ever seen this or have it happen to them? I'm thinking it could be the component cables, but not too sure if the system is dying.

    Any advice?

    Here are some pics of what I'm getting, you can see the green and blue lines in the screens below.

    Sounds like the graphics card, I think I've read of other people having that. I can hardly see anything.

      After 2 phone calls and getting more aggressive on today's call, they are finally going to send me an advanced replacement. That pisses me off that they have this option, but you have to fight to get it.

        Yeah, I had the same problem with Zelda last year. Sent it in a got a replacement real quick. It was nice, no problems with the new unit.
