Xbox Pro HDMI?
Just want to make sure that if I pick up the Xbox Pro Bundle that it has the HDMI input. The graph up at xbox.com seems to indicate you just have to buy the cable but I want to make sure the box itself has the HDMI capabilities before I dive in. Thanks.

Well I was fed up with my old premium system finally with the constant freezing and what not.. so I went and bought one of the 'arcade' versions today and it also had the HDMI plug on the back.Comment

Yeah, my old premium's drive sounded like a jet plane, and finally got the RROD...drive fixing costs like 100-150, so i just got an Arcade...it has the HDMI port (tho I'm just using the VGA cable I've had)Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Does the pro have an optical output to plug into my home theatre receiver or is just the HDMI port used for sound.Comment

Seymour, I believe that the component plug has a optical output out the back of the plug.follow me on twitter: www.twitter.com/eton_riflesComment

Re: Xbox Pro HDMI?
So does it come with component cables?
And I'm on my way out the door, but I don't think I found out if it came with an HDMI cable. So you can use the component (or VGA) cable's optical out, and also use a HDMI cable hooked to the tv instead? So you get HDMI to the TV and optical sound to the reciever...Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Sounds good, thanks. My roommate is looking to get the Xbox 360 Pro (w/ extra controller and two free games) at Target (or was it Circuit City?) on Black Friday, and I just wasn't sure what it came with, because I would have looked to gotten him something else like HDMI or whatever.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: Xbox Pro HDMI?
So I know I resurecting a really old thread but I guess my question fits into this thread enough not to start a whole new one:
How much of a difference does it make conecting the 360 with the HDMI cable vs. component?
I bought my 360 before they started making them with HDMI... do you guys think it would be worth selling my current 360 and buying a new one with the HDMI conection?Comment

The only thing I ever noticed, was I had to turn the audio louder on my TV when connected with component. Picture quality was the same with both. Granted my TV only supports up to 1080i and is 42inches. Larger screens and 1080p might make a slight difference.PSN ID: Lordcledus
