Failed IP Address. Need Help!!!!

Fellows I changed over to RoadRunner High speed internet and now I can't sign into live. I get IP address failed, and DNS failed can someone help me out

You need to reset your Xbox and renew your IP. I think running a re-detect of your settings should fix it. I almost kind of vaguely remember talking to Microsoft about this and they said that unplugging your Xbox 360 for a certain amount of time would reset it as well but I can't recall how long.

He'll need to go into his router settings to see what the SSID number is. For most routers, open up a browser and type

192.168.1.1

then put in the username and password. if you don't know what it is then try admin for the username and password for the password. if that don't work try to find the manual for the router, either the hardcover or by finding it online.

Once you get into the router settings go into wireless settings and you should see the SSID in the security section, although of course each router can be different so you may just have to look around for it in the wireless section.

Ok fellows got it working. Had to reset my wireless router/modem and unplug 360 for 1 minute. I'm back baby. Peace Thanks for everyone's feedback
