Hey guys, I think I'm finally ready to upgrade my 360's HD size. I really don't want to spend over $400 to get an Elite when my system is less than a year old and in perfect working condition. I know that I can just buy a bigger (120 Gb) hard drive for $179, which is my preferred method right now. But here's my question:
Is it possible to use the Datel Xport device with my PC, make a backup image of my current (20 Gb) 360 hard drive and then apply that image to the new 120 Gb hard drive???
I've read on here that MS will send a transfer cable but that appears to be only for people who have the Elites because they'll want a serial number.
Will the Xport idea work in this case ???
