    Game Questions

Alright, with some extra cash because of the holiday season, I've been looking into possibly breaking my 4 game rotation of NHL 2k7, MVP 05, Madden 06, and NFL 2k5 (all for XBOX). So here are a few questions, answers to any of them are much appreciated.
    • Are games like NHL 08 and Madden 08 on the PC the same as Xbox360/PS3, or are they still in the mold of the PS2 versions?
    • What's the best original XBOX games that you can think of? (Non-sports)
    • BioShock for the PC? How is that?
    • Gears of War for the PC? What's your impressions on that?

I've read up on some of these games and I'm confused on some things. Other things I know actual users could help me out on. But that's it. Thanks for all the help.
    NHL - Philadelphia Flyers
    NFL - Buffalo Bills
    MLB - Cincinnati Reds

I think they're like the 360/PS3 ones, but remember, you need a high end machine to produce those kind of graphics in the first place. Sports games are just a lot more fun on a console anyways IMO.

    "Halo" if you like FPS...
"Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory" if you like stealth games like MGS...
"Star Wars: KOTOR" if you like RPGs...
And "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time" if none of the above apply

You can probably get most of those fairly cheap now. And they are all worth it.

      Re: Game Questions

Thanks. I caved in and got Call of Duty 4. Not much of a gamer outside of the few sports titles I have (though I've played Halo2 and Goldeneye for N64 extensively), so this is the first PC game I've ever gotten. It's pretty damn intense. Cool sound, smart teammates (so far as I've seen). Control scheme is a little rough for a new guy like me, but it's growing on me (as expected). Burned 10 bucks on a gamepad, but I like this whole PC gaming thing. That controller may come in handy.
