    XBOX 360 Networking Question

Okay I am sure that I am just missing something but could someone give me some advise on how best to connect my 360 to my existing network. My cable modem is not in the same room as my 360. Do I need to get the xbox wireless network adaptor or do I need some other kind of router? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If your router isn't in the same room you can do one of two things: either get the wireless adapter or create a network bridge using your PC/laptop. I have been using the network bridge for the last year and half but just recently purchased the wireless adapter. Either way works fine.

Are there a lot of lag issues with the wireless adaptor?

If you have a wireless router on your computer, you just need the network adapter for the 360. Plugs up to the back of the 360. I don't have any lag with mine.
