        MS and Sony are definitely in some race to have the most SKU's known to man.

        In what is the 7th PS3 (20, 60, 40, 80, MGS, 80, and now the 160) SKU in 2 years, they have announced a 160GB HDD option.

                We should have saw it coming when the 40GB became an 80GB. It's weird to me though, they have now completely eliminated backwards compatibility. If any system should have it, it's the PS3 because of the 150 million PS2's out there.

                The 160GB is the 40GB again, just with a bigger HDD. Only 2 USB ports.

                                                Yeah....Honestly there are a ton of current games I could be playing if I had time, so I don't really care to pop in a PS2 game. I understand the desire in theory, just not something I (or a majority of the population) will probably use. That's why they're cutting it, especially if it's kinda expensive to throw in there.

                                                        They did say that, it just never happened.

                                                        I don't care about BC either, I own one PS2 game. But like I said, there are 150 million PS2 owners out there that you want to get to buy PS3's, a big selling point would be "game A still works on the PS3". They can't say that anymore.

                                                        The 360 dropped it because of, well, no one cared. Only 10 million or so XBox's out there, big difference in numbers.

                                                            The easy solution is too have all the games downloadable in their store so if peopel want them, they're their but of course you'd have to pay ....again.
