Hope it does rob. Usually hair dryers don't get hot enough to reflow it properly but I have read a couple accounts that it did work. I also know that people have taken appart the ps3 and put the motherboard in the oven for a few minutes and this was enough to reflow too. Solder melts at about 410 degrees so you have to get it at least that hot for a few minutes.

Nothing, but to be fair Sony never said there was going to be an announcement, it was all just rampant speculation.

That being said, releasing an ad to hype up the release of an ad was lame as hell.

Early last month, with some ambiguity, we announced that we were looking for a few good gamers to assist us with a special assignment related to our freshly launched Long Live Play campaign. The video was cool as hell, but did it really need its own hype? I just do not get it. This would have been a cool video to use for the relaunch of Home which is supposed to be rather soon I think.

Well we are already jumped in (so we do not see it as such)... and the internet will always out hype everything... that is why I mentioned to you I do not think it will be that "big" like people are thinking.

The commercial is probably one of the best gaming commercials to date, with the message it is trying to convey.

And definitely good to market and push for the holiday season.

Well the relaunch is not yet, and they did say this is a huge expanding campaign... so maybe they have one planned for that... who knows.
