White one should be here sometime early next week (well, maybe Saturday if I'm totally lucky). Great deal and thanks for the heads up. Well worth it to have rumble (as well as a slightly heavier controller, the PS3 Sixaxis seems so light to me).

The problem I have is not with the lack of rumble but the bad R2/L2 triggers on the controller. I got the Logitech precision wireless and it works good although it does not have rumble(I dont care about it anyway).

the DS3 is the real ps3 controller. I got it and it just feels right.

You can spin rumble as a minor feature all you want, or may not even like it. However, it's been a feature around for over a decade, and they only left it out because they were being bitches about their Immersion lawsuit. Sony was hardly being Nintendo-ish with forward thinking ways to make gaming different. They simply took out the rumble because they got sued.

Why? They feel fine to me anyway?

Most FPS on the PS3 use R1 as the shoot button and the first thing I switch it to R2 cause that is how the PS3 has it.

If I had more than 1 controller I'd be more hesitant....i knew I'd need one eventually, just makes sense to get one with more features

that's the decision Sony made to sell both the sixaxis and DS3, even though the DS3 does it all anyways. It'll only be probably a $10 difference anyways. A buyer is free to make that choice, even though the DS3 is better if only for the weight difference. The sixaxis is lighter than an empty beer can. It's not just a "controller that shakes", it's also a heavier sixaxis.

The 360 has the wired and wireless ones, so I guess they think they can do it to. Rumble is being added into games, so it's not like it depends on DS3 sales.

Altimus, why what? Why do the triggers feel a bit weird? Not sure really but they're a bit odd when I play bball games like college hoops but it's not a complaint.

Of course people are free to buy what they'd like bkf, but I wasn't questioning that, I just said I won't do it, just like I refused to pay 600 for a PS3.

You're probably right but you know I love bball more than any other sport.

I've yet to try Burnout on the PS3 yet though, I do like that game alot. Well I've played the MX vs ATV demo but that doesnt count.
