1. No to PS2 and yes to PS1.
2. If you look around. 60gb are almost out but you should be able to find the 80gb somewhere.
3. So far only the Spider-man 3 deal. Although Target gives you a free copy of Madden or NBA 2K8 with the purchase of a 40gb.
4. Flash drive.
5. Blu ray remote control and Dual Shock 3 controller.

so, the Target free game promotion is still going on?

Thanks. Setting-Up wasn't as hard as I thought. Right now got some family over so of course Spider-Man 3 is playing. The interface is gonna take time to get use to. Tried the browser. Was able to get into the OS site, but for some reason it wouldn't allow me to get to the forums. Downloaded a trailer from the PSN Store. Took longer than I expected, but all in all no problems.

The only drawback is the font is too small. Other than that I'm liking it so far.

Still keeping my 360. My main purpose for the PS3 is Blu-Ray Movie play back. Movie watching is still king in my house. I will pick-up some PS3 Exclusive games(Picked-up The Show) but any multi-platform games will be brought for the 360.

It helps shorten the load times. Good example is Devil May Cry 4, it cuts off a few extra seconds of loading over the 360 version and seamless cutscenes which they load automatically.

The Show, it caches the stadiums to load everything immediately.

Loading times are pretty slow in The Show IMO... especially considering the HDD.

The initial loads are, but once the game is totally loaded up its not bad.

Yeah, I don't mind, but before each RTTS game there's a decent loading time. I sometimes wonder if the PS3 "caching to HD" doesn't cut down load times that we see. It could just turn a crazy long load time into something the user won't complain about (ie. something we're all ready used to). I hoped that as time goes on we'd get less and less load times, but oh well.

only a few game have done this, a few of the recent ones. You can delete them at some point too........most likely when you are done with the game or get rid of it.
