I'll be getting GTA for the 360, the extra content as well as XBL is my deciding factor.
Knowing how bad PSN is anyway, there's no telling how hard it'll be to get in friend's games on GTA, it's next to impossible on every other PSN game.Comment

KDRE, I'm getting it for the PS3. Finally made my decision. Pretty much going PS3 only from this point on. Although I did just buy Bully for the 360.
I got it for $40 new so I figured that's not too bad. I really liked the game when I played it on the PS2 just never finished it.
But Madden, NCAA... yeah, all PS3. Free online with Home on the horizon is just icing on the cake.
Alt, are you playing CoD4 on the PS3 using the wireless or wired? I wonder how well wireless holds up... we gotta get that game of The Show in once I get my headset. FUK-U is goin' down!
Yeah man, I've been playing all games on the PS3 wireless since day one. Anytime I checked in the network setting my reception has been 99% or 100%. No problems here with wireless.
Every 4-5 months it seems I'll get a random disconnect error from the PSN but don't know if that is my network or just some random occurrence.Comment

Got my first "Cannot read this disk" error last night. Then, a bit later, blu I was watching started skipping.
Worse, this is not the only thing it's been doing; it's just been kinda acting up overall lately - freezing more than usual, resetting by itself ... and just some other random stuff that I can't think of.
Are these warning signs, or just something to be expected do you think?I am become death

The PS3 is a well built machine, very well built. But everything, no matter what it is, will die or go out. No product is 100%, and these consoles with so much crap on them are just begging to bite it. I don't think we'll ever see a failure rate even be discussed with Sony though, it's seriously like 1 out of every 500 or so.Comment

Given that my 360 only lasted around six months, I'm ironically pleased. It's been a stud to this point. Like I said, I use it a lot. It's the only HD source I have in my house, so I've really been pushing it. Not to mention, it's stil under warranty. I'm all good.
Plus I was thinking I might want to open it up and see if it's still clean inside. I'm a smoker and there's also pets in the house. It might just need a cleaning. But even if it dies or needs something replaced, seriously, with as much as I've used it, I think it has been impressive.
