    PSP Remote Play

Has anyone got this to work outside the home?

I can do it in my home no problem using the Private Network option. But when I try to go over the web at my home or any other location, I get a "PS3 has timed out your request".

I tried it out last night with the camera, and that is freaky how I can see my family room, and even hear the TV while my wife was watching it, and I was in the bedroom.

I just want to know if I can access my PS3 from anywhere..I know it's possible, but what am I doing wrong?

Do you really want to know what your doing wrong? J/K

This sounds very neat, if you get working please let us know how it is.

crap, Mrs. EG and I have to be more careful from now on!

I don't have a PSP but I'd be interested to hear how this works over the web, sounds kinda cool.

I always time out away from home also. I have tried leaving my PS3 on and off with no luck. It is such a great feature if it works but it is really pointless if it only works at home.

It works great at home. With the PS3 camera, since it has a mic on it, you can hear any conversations going on as well. The remote play is cool to see your PS3 dashboard and play any remote play games (PS1 games, some PSN games, and Lair, which I've never played).

I just want to be able to do it outside my house as well, otherwise, it's pretty pointless.

I've gotten it to work outside my home so I know it's possible. I was in Pittsburgh and my PS3 was in NY, so that was really cool. I don't really know what you're doing wrong, but it was pretty laggy trying to watch a video off my ps3.

Mine works fine outside the home as well, I have had no problems and usually I start my downloads from the PSP on Thursday. I do know it works, because I've been using for quite sometime.

                Re: PSP Remote Play

Got it working, went to my provider's site, asked some people there. They actually created a widget to get it to work with my router, since I have IPTV, everything is one box for me (cable, router, modem), now it works perfectly.

How do you get it all to sync up the first time around?
I won't ask for Christmas or birthday gifts if you subscribe to the Operation Sports Newsletter (Not Just Another Roster Update). I write it, and it hits your inbox every Friday morning (for freeeeeee). We also have an official OS Discord you can now join.
