Question on PS3
Looking to purchase a PS3, however, I heard if you don't purchase the premium bundle PS2 games aren't compatible. Is this true? Or, are all the PS2 games backwards compatible with the PS3? Please let me know so, I don't buy the wrong bundle. Thanks for the help in advance.NCAA Football: Notre Dame Fighting Irish

Re: Question on PS3
Just found part of the answer in another post. Sorry for being redundant. Does anyone know if Metal Gear Solids play on the PS3 though? That would help! Thanks.NCAA Football: Notre Dame Fighting Irish

Re: Question on PS3
This thread is probably going to die because it should be in the PS3 discussion thread. The 40 gig is not backwards compatible for the PS2 but is for the PS1. The 80-gig and 60-gig that are discontinued and the new larger gb one will have PS2 and PS1 backwards compat. The 60-gig has built in hardware compatibility and the 80-gig and the new model have software.
MGS games work on the 60 and 80 and will work on the new bundle coming out.Comment
