After watching this, I dont see how in the next few years this will not be used in a mass market.

I know man, I sat there in awe of how amazing that is. Just incredible. Id love to see some hacker or something develop a game using this technology, highly doubt Nintendo or any third party developer would touch this type of thing.

they even have the virtualboy graphics so far.

Was gonna make a new thread but I found this one.

Anyway VR has come a long way from what you guys are showing what with the Oculus Rift and all. http://www.oculusvr.com/
However they not only have that but also this http://www.virtuix.com/ and this http://www.priovr.com/. The first link is for a treadmill that you use to transmit your walking/running into the game and the second link is a full body (think mo cap) VR suit to transmit your movements into the game.

All three together looks like it could be an amazing experience. Now I know that all three together will not be possible on consoles however it appears (despite me thinking it wouldn't happen at all on consoles) that Sony might be taking a stab at trying to make an Oculus type VR headset for PS4. http://wccftech.com/rumor-sony-annou...on-4-ces-2014/

This is some really interesting stuff that is happening in the gaming industry. I wonder what M$ answer to VR is going to be.

Didn't know where to post this but interested to hear parents thoughts of their kids trying this out on their smart phones.
