Besides buying online through e-bay or craigslist, you are going to be pretty much stuck at $399 MSRP. The good news...instead of dishing out $499 and waiting until June for the MGS4 bundle and the 80GB, you can upgrade your PS3's Hard Drive to any size you want w/o voiding warranty. Instructions are even supplied with the PS3 on how to do it and what HDD you need. I just bought a PS3 2 weeks ago, purely for MLB The Show...and of course Blu-Ray. I have never even seen a screen shot of PS3 games....needless to say, i was in ABSOLUTE awe when I turned it on. Incredible.Believe None of What You Hear, and Half of What You See. -

Yeah, the prices for video game hardware and software do not fluctuate much, if at all, between various retail establishments. The only way you're going to find a "great deal" is to go through some non-traditional way of purchasing, such as eBay, etc. If you plan to buy it at a store, all prices will be identical within a few pennies.It's only a video game.Comment

I got mine after christmas on ebay for $399, and it came with assassins creed. So it was like a bundled 40 gig because the guy didn't want it.
You can find deals on ebay, if you're careful though.Comment

Type in PS3 and warranty and see if there are any matches.
Got mine for crazy cheap with a 2 year Walmart warranty off craigslist.Comment
