One tough PS3!!!!!!

My 5 & 6 year old were running though the house and I have a wired Headset connected to my PS3. The Kids ran across in front of my tv and tripped over the headset and it pulled the PS3 off the shelf which is about 5 feet high off the ground. Yes fellows I was heated!!!! This while I was playing RBSV2. After fussing at the kids I picked my PS3 off the ground and to my suprise nothing happened to my system. The disk did not even scratch at all.

This is just one well built system. There was a small scrape on the corner of the system and that's it. I wonder if my old Elite would have survived a fall like that? Peace!!!!!

you also need to keep in mind, that Blu-Ray disk are very sratch resistant.

I forgot to mention my daughter was having a slumber party for her B-day so there was only so much I could do. I did not want to embarass her in front of her friends. So yes they survived this time. Peace!!!!!!

I had something similar happen to me with my xbox a few years ago. At least that had those breakaway cables, so it never did fly off the shelf.

If you can't have wireless accessories, they should provide all wired ones with those breakaway cable ends.

glad to hear that both the kids and the PS3 are ok. And props to you for not embarassing your daughter in front of her friends. I don't know that I could've shown that much restraint.

Yes it was a carpeted floor, but the loud sound it made when it hit, I just knew it was over. Peace!!!!!
