I also have an XBox 360, HD Cable and only 2 HD inputs on my TV. I decided to buy an HD selector box. I also went ahead and purchased an optical audio cable for the PS3. My question is, that if I have the PS3 connected through the selector box for video, but the audio ran straight into the surround sound optical port from my PS3, will the audio work fine? Or since I am going through the selector box for video, will I only be able to use that for audio as well?
Common sense would say that I can go video through the selector, but audio straight to the surround sound, but this is partially new to me - so any help is appreciated.
