What is the easiet and fastest way to get the RROD ? My warranty ends really soon and I want to get the ring of death so I can get a newer version or at least one that is not dying ?

There's at least 6 months left on your RROD warranty and that's if you have a launch system. The warranty for the RROD is 3 years from the date of purchase.

I know this but I am borrowing it and won't use this system so after this weekend.

RROD is caused by the system overheating, so in theory, my best guess would be to wrap it in a towel to cut off the ventilation and just leave it running.

Of course, no one here is advocating or aiding in the demise of a working game console. This is all hypothetically speaking.
