I'm seriously considering going back to the 360 again, since I miss Live, and it has more games. I was just wondering how many people here have done the same..

Re: 360 to ps3 to 360 again?
I've flipped flopped several times but decided to stay with the PS3 due to reliability and Blu-ray. Was able to score a 360 Elite last week brand new in the box for $300. The date on the Elite is Feb 2008. Got the best of both worlds. Peace!!!!The poster formerly know as "FLIGHTWHITE" -

No need to flip for me, got both. If I had to choose though, I don't know. I like both systems, and both systems seem to fit the needs of the whole family.Comment

I got over the achievements, took me awhile, but I did. XBL is the important piece, granted I really haven't played much XBL in months but whichever titles I have played on PSN aren't stable and have their hiccups online. Hopefully within the next few months they fix that.Comment

The Show has its problems though.
The Store update recently was a nice improvement. Give me in game XMB and Home and that will do it.Comment

Re: 360 to ps3 to 360 again?
One reason why I have been tempted to get GTA4 on the PS3. I had read somewhere that it ran smoother, but the problem is that I can't remember where. But the d/l for GTA4 on the 360 is more enticing though, so we will see when reviews arrive most likely by the end of this week.Comment

Re: 360 to ps3 to 360 again?
I have both still but I've really been thinking about getting rid of the 360. Don't care about achievements at all and I've had a lot of dirty disc and freezing errors but none of my friends have a PS3, their all on 360. If you switched to PS3 already I don't know why you would go back. Online for PS3 is slowly getting better and the games are coming soon. Plus this looks like the year the PS3 versions of the sports games and most other games finally catch up to 360. After playing the 360 version of NHL 08 but having ridiculous dirty disc and freezing errors I picked it up for PS3 when I got one a couple months ago but man, the frame rate was ridiculously bad, couldn't believe they even released the game, it was unplayable to me. But that's my only real gripe so far and it's mostly just due to EA's laziness, their claiming everything will be even now. And I couldnt play NHL on my 360 anyways because the disc was so bad.Last edited by cake612; 04-20-2008, 07:05 PM.Comment

Yeah, The Show does have some issues online. Give them time and it should be running smooth.

The other rumor was that the PS3 will get some kind of DLC 6 months or after the 360. Not the same one, but something.Comment

However, NCAA 09 has been confirmed to run exactly the same on both consoles at 60 FPS. So I'm sure the whole 60 FPS issue is dead.Comment

I have both and like having the best of both worlds. I prefer the PS3 for a multitude of reasons, but there are some great 360 exclusives out there as well.Comment

Re: 360 to ps3 to 360 again?
I did this last year, had a 360 Premium and ditched it when the PS3 came out. Then about the time Halo 3 came out I grabbed a 360 Halo edition and returned my PS3 to Best Buy with my PRP, and then at Christmas my girlfriend picked me up another PS3 to replace the one I got rid of previously. Now Im contemplating getting rid of the 360 again due to financial hardships but its tough to pull the plug on it, and of course my girlfriend thinks Im nuts for even contemplating it.Comment

Re: 360 to ps3 to 360 again?
Achievements suck me in more than anything else at this point. I have too much fun playing games over and getting them to stop.
I'd rather just have one system, and feel the PS3 is the more solid system, but XBL and achievements would always keep me going back to the 360.
As for GTA, it's 360 hands down, XBL alone is going to rule on it. I couldn't even imagine trying to play GTA online with the PS3.Comment

Re: 360 to ps3 to 360 again?
Like I was telling EG the other day, my XBL is expiring next month so I was thinking of holding off on renewing since I have been playing more SP than anything else. There is no way I could get rid of the 360 with Gears 2 coming at the end of the year though.
One thing I despise with the 360 is the DRM. I just replaced my 360 yesterday at Gamestop since my warranty was expiring next week, so all my d/l works now signed into Live. If the service is down, that won't work which drives me nuts.Comment
