Keep my 360?

Alright, I have a 360 Elite, as most know. Problem is, I have a PS3 as well. At the moment, I can't seem to find a single reason to keep my 360. I havent played it in a LONG while... and I don't see any forthcoming titles that are gonna change the way I feel about it.

I also have the 2 yr warranty on it from WalMart. Could do the take back and then trade for something else of equal value, no?

Anyway, is there anything coming down the pipeline that I should hold off on? Before GTA4, I hadn't even played in quite a few weeks... desire isn't there to play it.

It's hard for me to say hold onto it, because I'm not sure what might interest you. Personally, there is over dozen games coming that can only be played on the 360 that have me excited. Your post history suggests that you're primarily a sports gamer and may only pick up a couple non-sports games a year. If that's the case, then sell it.

Yeah, definitely mainly a sports gamer. I like the Metal Gear Series, and Splinter Cell, but the last few Splinter Cell's have been pretty "blah" to me. Mainly basketball and baseball, throw in the occasional football games and I'm set. Oblivion was awesome, so I may pick that back up GOTY edition on PS3... but I just honestly don't see a whole lot of reason to keep the 360 at this point. I'm paying for XBLive, when I haven't been on in a LONG time.

What exclusives are coming out for the 360 Flaw? Appreciate the response as well. You're the information bringer to the community.

I made a spreadsheet using Open Office that shows all of the games coming out through the end of the year according to Gamestops website, and it also shows out of all the 360 games, which ones are also coming out on the PS3, but Im having a tough time uploading it. If anyone is interested in seeing it, to avoid doing all of the legwork themselves, just tell me how to upload it and I can do it then.

Posted above, did this a week or so before GTA IV so some things might have changed since then but I wouldnt imagine much. It is formatted as a .doc file and should open with both Microsoft Word as well as Open Office if anyone has either of those. If anyone would like to see it I can email it to them if the above link isnt working like I wanted it to, just let me know.

On a side note WTF, I did this list strictly because I was tempted to sell my Xbox 360 for the same reasons you are tempted, and this list really pushed me to sell it. Hopefully it helps you as much as it helped me.

Gotcha... how much did you sell yours for Pimping? I have an Elite, Assassin's Creed, Smackdown vs Raw 07 & 08, NBA Live 2008, NBA 2k8, and the Simpson's game. Also have 2 yr extended service plan through WalMart...

Out of those games, looks like Alan Wake and Ninja Gaiden II are the only ones that I'd miss out on.

Sold mine for 295.00 but that was with zero games and it was the Halo edition not the Elite, so I would imagine you could easily expect to get 350.00 for the system by itself. I know your not asking for my opinion but I would probably bundle it all and throw it on Craigs List for somewhere around 425.00-450.00 for everything including the games but like some warned me on here prior to selling mine, its a terrible market for selling right now so be prepared to wait it out. I had mine on Craigs List for a week and lucked out, but I barely got any serious offers and tons of offers of trades.

EDIT- Did you notice the list of PS3 exclusive games coming out by the end of the year, at the bottom of that list? Some pretty solid titles, and Gran Turismo isnt even on there I dont believe.

haha... sounds like I'll try to go that route... The fact that I still have the box and everything probably make it a little more appealing to potential buyers as well. If I could get $425-450, then I'd probably be a happy camper. Not too bad. I'll list and see what kinds of offers I get.

Out of that list Ninja Gaiden II and ME 2 might still come to the PS3. Might. I'm really hoping ME does since EA owns Bioware now.

As far as your question, I got rid of my 360 and games permanently a couple weeks ago.

The only game I really play online is COD and that runs just as well if not better online with the PS3. Halo is pretty much done to me since they closed that chapter. I will only really miss Gears.

Since, the question is are the exclusives worth it for you to keep the 360? If not, sell it. With all the problems I've had I decided it wasn't worth it for me.

I just don't think the used 360's hold much value anymore, but craigslist is your best bet by far. In my opinion, you'll be lucky to get $400 for an elite with accessories/games and proper retailer warranty papers.

Geez that list is just wow. Nothing exclusive 360 that i want and not much exclusive PS3 I care for either...lol

What happened to Crackdown 2? Will they finally release on both consoles? Looking like there is no reason for me to keep the 360 as ive been pondering.

Gamestop/Eb, im not sure what their trade in values are.
