Xbox 360 Wireless Adapters
Does anyone here use anything but the Xbox brand wireless adapter for their Xbox? If so, which?

I would like to know this as well. I can't even find a used one. I currently have a 50 foot ethernet cord across my den floor. GHETTO as my partners say. Peace!!!!The poster formerly know as "FLIGHTWHITE" -

Re: Xbox 360 Wireless Adapters
From what I've read, non-MS brands suck and many people were complaining their games would drop.
I know BB has one for like $40 less but the reviews on it were terrible. For $60 you can get a used one on eBay.Comment

If they have a wireless network they could get a wireless access point from linksys or something...I know my dad's used those before and it was fine, but you're hitting 50ish bucks anyways because that's overkill.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Yeah I think I'm just going to drop the $100 for the MS brand one. I might as well get the best so it'll last a while.Kansas City Royals | FC Barcelona | New Orleans Pelicans

I have a wireless linksys network adapter, can this substitute for the wireless network adapter?

Re: Xbox 360 Wireless Adapters
I went ahead and got the MS wireless adapter when I first got my 360. If you need wireless it is a must, and I've never had a single problem with mine. I know it's too damn expensive, but it is about the only reliable option IMO and worth it if you use wireless like I said.Favorite Sports Teams

Re: Xbox 360 Wireless Adapters
Hey y'all,
I'm getting XBL for the first time soon. Where my 360 is already has a high-speed wireless network that's accessible. I think I'm going to order this:
My question is, if I plug it into the 360 will it work? I don't really have the funds to shell out $100 but the $40 price tag is tempting, although it may be too good to be true.
Any advice, stories about this sort of thing or this particular piece of equipment is appreciated.Comment

I had one of these when I had my original Xbox. Worked just fine. Since it worked for the original Im sure it would work for the 360.Hey y'all,

Good. I'm just wondering if all I need to do is plug it into the 360. Is there another Ethernet cord I need to use or anything like that? Or is it just a plug once and play type of thing? Thanks manComment

Re: Xbox 360 Wireless Adapters
I have one of these and I use it when I bring my 360 out into the living room. It works just fine, although for me I get some disconnects because I have a crummy wireless router but beyond that, it would be just like being hooked up to a cat5, no lag. Well worth the price tag if you want wireless capabilities.

I just got the 360 wireless adapter, and I'm getting faster connections through it than I ever got through being wired to my wired router (...strange...). Haven't had any reliability problems as of yet.Comment

Ethernet cord from the 360 to the adapter. It also has a power cord that needs to be plugged in.Comment
