PS3 question: Ejecting disks

Most of you all know I just got a PS3 like 4 days ago. I have a question that I think is nothing but just wanna make sure.

When ejecting a disk, does everyones ps3 make like a..... CHA....... CHUCK......click when it ejects the disk. I am thinking it is just a normal noise. I just noticed last night that it is not a silent ejection like car decks.

Yeah, mine sounds like that I think. Just makes a normal noise when it comes out. I never really thought about it though. Nothing is wrong with it.

Yes, it makes an ejecting like noise from the motor inside. It's normal.

I keep doing like the 360 and ejecting a disc while i'm still in the game and then I get that "RE-INSERT THE DISC DUMMY!" message. I have to remember to quit from the controller first.

It's not too loud; I didn't really think much of it when I first heard it. It's pretty cool how the eject button works, actually.
