Bingo. They also better have some kind of Trophy sound when you unlock it. The achievement noise was like a drug.

I hope the fix the HDMI & Digital Output sound thing...LOL! I just got my PS3 and can't get it to play through both the setreo & TV at the sametime.

Yup. HDMI stands for High-Definition Multimedia Interface.

When I hook up my ps3 to my monitor via HDMI, it tells me audio is not supported,

That's interesting. In the XMB under Audio Settings, make sure it's set to HDMI and that you have the 2-speaker settings checked and nothing of higher priority like 5.1 Dolby Digital. It sounds like you're trying to get sound running through your monitor (assuming this monitor has speakers), so you probably want to make sure those other things aren't checked so it doesn't confuse itself.

Of course, I'm new to this HDMI thing, so I don't think I can really be much more help.

Through the tv yes... that's what its for. One cable does it all.

You can even do as i did and use the hdmi for video and an optical cable for the audio if you want.

It's quite possible that your monitor, like a lot of monitors, only supports HDMI for video.

CVG has the leaked set of features when you access the XMB in-game.

Release date: Sometime around E3.

I'm really just trying to get my speakers to work with my ps3 through my monitor. For now, I'm using the AV cable.
