I'm trading my ps3 for xbox 360. Dont know where to ask but if i copy my videos from my ps3 to flash drive and put them on 360 they should work? the vids do play on media player on my laptop.

what format does the ps3 videos come in? some proprietary Sony encoding? the 360 can play wmv (obviously) and the updated (last fall) dashboard will now support MOST divx formats.

they are MPEG 4 vids

it sure seems like it can play back MPEG-4 format. But to be honest, I don't know if you can just put the movies on a flash drive and play it. Not that it can't, I just never tried it so I don't know. Sorry, but that's all the info I have.

i dont think you need to copy them to a flash drive.i dont think the flash drive works for the 360.all you have to do is go to your windows media player and share media and it will pop up on your 360.SENT U A PM BTW

Of course flash drives work why wouldnt they. You can even use an external harddrive as well.
