It's not a massive difference, but PS3 is leading the 360...has that been going on a while? Just wondering if it's recent or a trend.

PS3 has outsold the 360 in 5 of the 7 months so far this year. A difference of 288K units.

Check out CivRev! And not to jump on its grave, but GuitarHero Aerosmith has to be one of the busts of the year. Last I heard, its highest ranking was #14 on the Wii. Stores can't give 'em away is what the 1up podcast said a couple weeks ago.

The release of Tales of Vesperia bumped 360 hardware sales up a lot in Japan for one week, and probably one week only. Tales of Vesperia sold 108,328 during the week.

I am still baffled by the PS2 selling 155K units...........now that is scary almost 8 years later this thing is still kicking butt.

I know and just wait till the August NPD comes out......I bet it is even higher for the PS2 with people buying more PS2's this month for Madden. I think it is August/September and December where the PS2 sales spike due to Madden and the holidays post next gen.

why, gamers can still play most of the same games on the PS2 as the 360/ps3, at the same time, not every has an HDTV or could afford one, so people still use the PS2 and get good life from it. If it keeps selling it will be around forever.
