Upgraded to 60 gig HD, How to transfer content?

Hey guys,

I recently bought a 60 gig hard drive for my 360. Is the only way to transfer the content of 20 gig to the 60 gig through a 360 transfer kit or is there another way. Also, if I have to use a transfer kit, are there any stores that carry them. Also whats the drm thing, is that for completely upgraded consoles, or would that work for me?

One guy said all I have to do is retrieve my 360 gamertag on the new harddrive and I can redownload all my content cause its linked to my gamertag. Is that true, I have the new halo and cod4 maps. That would be a pretty easy method.

Well our office bought the new pro with the 60 gig and they don't need that big of hard drive space so they said I could trade them my 20 gig for the 60. I didn't check to see if the new 60 gig pros come with a transfer cable.

Anyone know if the method of just recovering your gamertag to the new hard drive will allow you to download the maps and stuff free that you've already purchased?

Yea real simple. It worked. Stupid me though, I put all my game saves on my memory card and kept it in when i deleted my profile and items and it removed them from the memory unit as well! Not smart. But if your not dumb like me, just recovering your gamertag and re-downloading is the simplest method.
