Okay so I just picked up a Ps3 last week and I just thought of something. We bought Burnout Paradise City and was upset that my son and I had to share a save slot in the game. But stupid me remembered that you can setup different profiles on the PS3 startup screen. So I think that solves that problem. But then I started thinking.....if I download a patch will all user accounts past and future be able to take advantage of the patch. Say Maddens patch for example? Or is it tied into my User master profile. Couldn't find anything on the net about this. Thanks in advance.

I'm pretty sure the patches apply to the whole system because it's not like you have to install a game for separate users. Once a game is on the system (on disc game or a PSN downloaded game) it is available to all users on the system. Yes it is weird that you have to create new User Profiles for some games, but I guess that's the wave of the future when the game saves are tied to your PSN account.
