Backwards compatible...

I need help with this fellows. I'm trying to create my DVD. I downloaded the file from xbox. I then extracted all files. Doubled clicked that folder and got the default.exe file. Here is where my problem starts. I tried drag and drop the file to my cd/dvd drive (F and that won't work. Help me please. PM me if you don't want to use the forum.

I believe you should be burning that on a CD, not a DVD.

It worked on my DVD disk. I have a cd/dvd burner. Microsoft said the backwards games play better if you burn the file on a dvd disk. I bought NFL Fever 2004 and NFL 2K3 for my first games on the 360 and they play good. I'm not having any problems.

That makes no sense at all, but I'm not going to argue with them. I mean, they designed the console and all so they know what they're doing.

Now if only they could keep one working...

Pared, I completely agree with you but that is truely what Microsoft said. All is good, so I'm happy.

I'd do the same thing; Like I said, if they mentioned use a DVD, use a DVD.

You got it working though and that's what really matters!
