the same is happening to me. ive connected for like five seconds and then the error comes up.. can someone explain this please

What kind of router are you using?

First thing I would do is power cycle the modem and router and go from there.

unplug your modem for 30 seconds, then give it a try.
then turn you ps3 off then back on.

that always seems to work for me.

All I had to do was put in my PPoPe or whatever username and password and it works now!
