WOW! Is all I can say at this point. I installed this at 6 a.m. and within minutes the system was up and running. I created my avatar and messed around with the NXE dash. I really love what they did here and can't wait to get home to install a few games to see how my system sounds without the disc spinning during gameplay. I am glad they gave that dash a facelift, I didn't care too much for the blades. I still think the PS3's menu system is very nice when comparing the two.

Oh man. I guess Ted and EG were right that I would probably be selling off my PS3 sooner than I thought. LOL! I don't play it anymore between my movie review gig and my baby on the way in less than 3 months.

Wow, it's been fast thus far. The original dialog was hardly up for a minute, and now I've got the new dialog up, and it's taken about 2 minutes and it says it'll only take 2 more.

for anyone with an iPhone or iPod touch... Therenis an app in the app store that allows you to add movies to your instant queue. Just search netflix and it will come up.

I'm installing BK: NaB, and it's been fast thus far. Very pleased with the new interface.

Can someone post a list of all the features the new XBox experience brings. I was in the dark about the whole thing, and when I turned on the 360 this morning I got prompted for the console update which is pretty much how I found out about the whole thing.

I looked a couple pages into this thread, but didn't see a comprehensive list of what this update does.

Sharing photos app

I saw people talking about this in the first couple of pages...

So does this mean that I can DL NBA 2K9 and play it off my HD instead of using the disc (as long as I have enough space to do so)?

I assume, like others have said, its less strain on the box since its not spinning a disc...what other benefits come from playing the downloaded game and/or are there any downsides to playing a DL version of the game vice the disc?

You have to own the disc, and place the disc in the drive to play it. It just reads that you do in fact have possession of the disc.

Although, I'm sure we'll see games coming down the road as downloads as Sony did with Head Coach and Burnout Paradise.

Can you burn any game to the hard drive? If that's the case I'd burn All Pro Football and NBA 2K9 since they get the most play out of me.
